Geschichte

Frühe Armbänder wurden aus Gräsern, schlanken Ästen und Muscheln, dann aus Kupfer und Bronze gefertigt. Nach der Bronzezeit (2000 bis 1400 v. Chr.), machten Handwerker Armbänder aus Gold und Silber. Sie wurden dekorativer, mit Muscheln und Steinen geschmückt und als Schmuck ein Symbol für Reichtum und Status.
